Editorial and Peer Review Process

Every manuscript undergoes double-blind peer review. Submissions are first checked for relevance, formatting, plagiarism, and ethical compliance. Selected reviewers provide objective evaluations based on scientific merit, methodology, clarity, and originality.

01

Reviewer Selection

Reviewers are chosen based on their expertise, publication track record, and ability to provide critical feedback within the specified timeline.

02

Editorial Decision

Editors base their decision on reviewer reports and manuscript quality, with outcomes including
Accept
Minor revision
Major revision
Reject
In case of conflicting reviews, additional input may be sought.

03

Corrections and Retractions

BJSOL follows strict procedures for issuing corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern when required, in accordance with COPE guidelines.

Permissions and Rights

Authors must obtain permission for third-party materials and ensure legal compliance in all content.
